Do you book flights, hotels, train tickets online? Do you like the fact that you can browse through different options before you make your decision based on your pocket and your convenience.
We're going to try something new, to see if it works, and because we like new things. We hope it will make it simpler for you to book us if you want our support with either service design or training for your team, from the range of support and expertise that we offer.
CALENDARS
For the months of August and September we have posted our training day rates below. To get the final cost, add travel at 40p per mile from postcode LL29 7AW. If the distance is over 90 miles each way (i.e. 180 miles return) we will also add £50 for an overnight stay. You can use a route planner such as Google maps to help you calculate the final price. (Please note, VAT will be added at the current rate of 17.5%)
If you wish to book us for a day of training, simply click on the date on the calendar and it will take you to a booking form. As dates get booked up they will turn grey and the link will be removed.

Psychology of Health Behaviour Workshop This is our most popular training workshop. Delegates pay up to £125 per person to attend our open training days, so you can find huge cost savings by having this delivered in-house. On this workshop we explore how human psychology and behaviour can get in the way of traditional health promotion methods, leading to low adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviour, even when people know the benefits of behaviour change. We look at ways to be smarter and more persuasive with our messages, taking a practical behavioural approach to improve health and wellbeing. You can have up to 20 delegates for this workshop delivered in-house. If you don't have this many colleagues, perhaps invite local partner organisations to attend and share the cost.

"Your 30 seconds starts now..." This workshop is about 'rapid persuasion', when we get the briefest opportunity to encourage someone towards a healthier lifestyle and we need to make it count. We all know that the first 30 seconds is where first impressions are made. When we are in the business of persuasion (for behaviour change, or even just to encourage people to try or attend something once) it's important to make the most of these short windows of opportunity that we encounter. Get the first 30 seconds right and you may get a chance for a further 30 seconds... This interactive workshop will equip you with some new skills and ideas to help you make the most of the first 30 seconds you have with clients (or potential clients). It is relevant for those working on front-line health and wellbeing services, who interact directly with members of the public. You can have up to 12 delegates for this workshop delivered in-house. Psychology of Behaviour Change - Health & Safety This workshop has evolved from our Psychology of Health Behaviour workshop (see above) after a number of Health and Safety professionals attended and highlighted its particular relevance to workplace health and safety. Very similar in format to the other workshop, but with specific examples and focus on health and safety systems at work, this workshop is ideal for anyone working in occupational health or responsible for health and safety systems and training.
